MASKS

Due to the high increase in covid cases, we request that all visitors to the surgery continue to wear a mask

Volunteers Required:

We are currently looking for volunteers to support practices across Sutton. You can volunteer as little or as much as you can, from an here and there to several hours per week

We initially want to set up a working group of volunteers to support other patients with IT and on line services so that we can maximise their use across all Sutton Practices We are hoping some of these volunteers might join our Practice Patient participation Groups (PPG’s) and/or other future projects.
If you are interested and feel you can support this initial project, perhaps you have an IT background or just a special interest, or you would like to know more about the practice PPG leave your details with the receptionist

Doctors of the World have updated the translated coronavirus guidance to reflect the changes made regarding the lock down rules for the whole population in the UK. This new version (version 3 -24.03.2020) is ready in English and 28 other languages at the moment, and remaining languages will be updated very soon. Please find them here https://www.doctorsoftheworld.org.uk/coronavirus-information/

In total, the guidance is now translated into 36 languages to reach out diverse communities in the UK, with more languages coming! A link to these resources is also put on the UK Government website: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-entitlements-migrant-health-guide

We will be in touch with a video format of the guidance soon.

UK Government has translated some of its guidance into 11 languages:

We also wanted to let you know about the excellent resources the Irish health service had produced in 20 languages, which includes a 16-page information booklet and posters. The resources all direct patients to the Irish health services, so of limited use for those of us working in the UK, but they may be helpful for some patients/service users to understand symptoms and prevention measures better: https://www.hse.ie/eng/services/news/newsfeatures/covid19-updates/partner-resources/covid-19-translated-resources/

 PRESCRIPTIONS
