Telephone Consultations

We offer telephone consultations as an initial contact as for some problems you may not need to have the inconvenience of coming to the surgery.  This service has proved very popular with our patients.

Ring the surgery telephone number and inform the receptionist that you would like a telephone consultation. You will be given a time slot and the doctor will make every effort to ring you after the morning/afternoon sessions. You must provide a contact number where you will be available at the given time. This could be a work number or a mobile number as long as you make sure you are there to take the call.

In addition the Doctor may ask you to ring for a telephone consultation after a face to face consultation or upon the receipt of medical results or a hospital letter.

We feel this is a helpful way to access your doctor without attending the surgery.

You may also wish to complete our accuRx on line questionnaire so that the receptionists can book you a telephone call with the GP.  This can be completed 24/7 and you will be contacted on the next working day
